A dental experience that’s anything but scary
Drs. Shah and Velilla and our entire team are firm believers that healthy habits are formed at an early age. Oral health is no exception. We also understand that coming to the dentist can be a little uncomfortable, and even scary, especially if you’re a kid. That’s why children’s dentistry is one of our favorite parts of what we do – we have the ability to make sure kids start off on the right foot for a lifetime of oral health, and ensure that their first dental experiences are positive.
Gentle dental care
Our outstanding hygiene team, dental assistants, and doctors have all been carefully selected to uphold our practice’s high standards and values of care. Not only are they highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced in the dental field, they have a gentle touch and a sense of compassion that makes our patients feel comfortable. That being said, we also want to ensure your kids enjoy coming to our office, so there is no shortage of fun in every appointment.
Kids get cavities sometimes. It’s just a fact of life. Because their motor skills and their oral health knowledge are still not yet fully developed, they are more prone to tooth decay. That’s why it’s important to bring them in twice yearly for regular cleanings and checkups. This will ensure that we catch signs of decay early on before it progresses.
Our office is proud to be on the cutting-edge of dental technology. We use laser technology instead of painful injections and drills to help us remove decay and fill cavities easier, and more comfortably than ever before.
Another fact of life (who knew your dentist was filled with such life lessons) is that teeth don’t always come in perfectly straight. While crooked teeth are a huge source of low self-esteem for young teens, so are metal braces. That’s why we are proud to offer Invisalign®, as a clear solution to help your teen straighten their smile, without the added embarrassment of a mouth full of metal.
Growing up is awkward, Invisalign® can help ease your teen through the process, and give them a huge boost of confidence with a beautifully straight smile that shines all the way through treatment.
